This was followed by a brainstorming session on IHSD future projects and the formation of core teams such as; the Program team, Communication team, the Human Resources and Outsourcing team, and the Logistic/Welfare team that would also double effort in the area of contact and mobilization under Humanitarian (Mrs.) Boma Anga.

Speaking on the selection of IHSD core teams, Dr. Francis explained that while interns are selected to function in the areas where they have demonstrated competence cum capacity, they will also be asked to work in alternate areas where they would want to develop themselves professionally. According to him, “this means that an intern could function primarily in communication but also given the opportunity to learn in the area of programmes”.
