The Institute for Humanitarian Studies and Social Development holds its Annual Public Lecture/Graduation and Fellows Induction on the 13th October, 2021.
According to the Registrar of the Institute (Amb. Prince Francis Origa, PhD, this is one significant program of the Institute that brings together Humanitarians across the globe and would be done with all hands on deck. The event is part of the conscious efforts of the Institute to mark the International Day for Disaster Reduction and also provide a platform for stakeholders to interact and seek solutions to burning humanitarian challenges threatening humans existence as a people. The theme of the event for this year is: ”Promoting the culture of Humanitarianism and Volunteerism; Imperative for National Development”.
Barrister Mirian Ezinwa Onu hails from Onicha Mbaise, In Ezinihitte Local Government of Imo State. She graduated from from Faculty of law university of Calabar, Calabar, Cross River State in 2001, and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2003.
